There are many varied plant forms in the Preserve, including some rare and endangered varieties. Many can be seen on The Sand Pine Military Trail. The trails have large canopied trees, including Live Oak, Myrtle Oak, Magnolia, and Crooked Wood.
The Sand Pine Military Trail is a one-mile long, well-marked trail.
